【ENT Clinic (Medical Corporation Soseikai)】
Disinfection refers to the effect of reducing bacteria. We currently support it, judging that removing bacteria is necessary. However, the term "disinfection" is often used on household products like alcohol sprays, detergents, and bleach. According to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, products that are not medicines or quasi-drugs cannot advertise "sterilization" or "disinfection," even if they are effective.
Nevertheless, to expand PCR testing for COVID-19, on the 26th the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare decided to allow dentists to collect test samples. We believe disinfection prevention and disinfection activities are essential for eradication.
